If these are personal calls for someone who doesn't live there, they are essentially wrong numbers and don't come under the authority of the Do Not Call Registry. However, if you've told the caller (assuming it's always the same person making the calls) that the person doesn't live there and you don't know him, and ask the caller to stop calling you, then if the calls continue, you can report them to the telephone company or even the police. Meanwhile, if you don't already have Caller ID, it might be a good idea to get it.so that you can find out who's doing this. It may be someone's idea of a joke. (Maybe after a few more calls for "Bud," someone else will call and say, "This is Bud. Are there any messages for me?")

To me this is wired but too others it might be OK,but i guess because i don't live in U.S.A i live in Canada. Which by the way is a fantastic place to live in ……..well…… most of the time . So if i lived in one of those states it would be different that's because I'm not use to wired law well that's my opinion. thanks
