Network Marketing Opportunities That Work

Network marketing opportunities that work not only exist, but are also doing quite well for themselves and their representatives. Some people will no doubt scoff at the notion. It’s understandable considering the number of businesses that pose as reputable top notch network marketing opportunities.

To give you a better idea of what network marketing is and what it isn’t, let’s look at some of the basics of network marketing. Network marketing isn’t an industry in and of itself. It’s a method of distribution for various products and services.

Network marketing organizations rely on their representatives to promote and sell the company product or service. This saves the company the huge expense of marketing themselves.

Also, because network marketing allows reps to recruit and train their own sales team, they receive a portion of the revenue generated by their sales team.

When most people hear the terms network marketing or multi-level marketing, they tend to immediately think “oh no…! Not another pyramid scheme.” It’s good to have a basic understanding of the fundamental difference between the two.

Point blank, pyramid schemes are illegal. Besides that however, pyramid schemes don’t rely on the sale of a product or service. Instead, these organizations focus heavily on recruiting and provide give little or no value to the new recruit aside for the promise of big bucks.

So, if the business opportunity you’re looking at doesn’t have a clearly defined product or service, or relies heavily on fancy recruiting systems to “do all the work for you”, it’s most likely an just another attempt to dazzle you with lots of hype.

Believe me, I speak from personal experience. “Everything that glitters, ain’t gold.” Use good judgment, and be sure to do the proper background research before you spend your hard earn money on a potential business opportunity.

Network marketing opportunities are a legitimate means to provide some additional income at low cost and limited risk.

The above answer is classic! Show any MLMer the numbers and suddenly you shouldn't look at them at face value. Gimme a break! Its supposed to be a business oppotuntity…in business you analyze profit, revenue, expenses, your market, but not in MLM. Whenever those numbers prove poor in MLM you shouldn't take them at face value. If you can't make a living selling your own product without sponsoring other people, run, its merely destined to fail like all other MLMs.

Your numbers hit the nail on the head of the MLM fallacy. They want so bad to claim its not a pyramid but as soon as the people at the bottom cannot sponsor anyone else and make money, the whole things fails. They will tell you that all companies are a pyramid, but the reality is all companies don't need to keep getting new employees just to pay the other employees, they actually don't even need to grow to be sustainable. Not with MLM.

Look at this naive Mexico4me fellow..he totally tries to direct attention away from the obvious flaws in the numbers by trying to draw comparisons to growth in any company. How ridiculous is that as an answer? Those companies had periods of growth, and that was in sales of product, not signing up your brother-in-law, your aunt, and your best friend. MLM people ALWAYS try to make comparisons to real world businesses and somehow think this makes their experiments in MLM a viable business, its a joke.

The fact is, no MLM company can expand at the rate that they say is needed to make you a millionaire. Of course, they will all tell you they make more millionaires than any other business opportunity and all sorts of other unproven propaganda to convince the naive, but don't you be fooled. Good luck.

Many things are possible, if we think they are. And they're not possible if we think they're not.

No one would have given a 0.01% chance for a Million $ Website idea, till someone showed it's possible!

I think this CAN work, as many such networking efforts do, but whether it WILL work depends on how committed the coordinator is. Not quite easy, though. If the coordinator (perhaps the person who has asked this question) starts with a small beginning, and proves its success, this can go places.

There are, in fact, a few sites like this online. (I need to go thru my records at leisure to locate these urls.)

    All the best!

Well, I'll be willing to participate, if contacted thru email.

Network Marketing (aka Multi-level marketing) can indeed be prosperous. Keep in mind that they are NOT get rich quick schemes, however. To be successful in this type of business, you have to be willing to talk to a lot of people and put in your time. Once you have built your base, however, it can indeed be profitable.

Looking to start a business now while you still have another source of income is a good idea. That way you still have the security of an income while building your business.

The key is to look for a good business to become involved in. How will variations in the economy affect your ability to build the business? Is it something with which you can cultivate both a down-line and an active customer base? These are both areas in which network marking can generate and income for you. Are you marketing luxury items, or things people use everyday, even when things are tight? Are you marketing to individuals or businesses, or both? Do your research, and find a business that fits both your needs and your interests.
