Yes, there are other ways to search the 'net.

Usually, when you aren't finding things, you are spelling one of the words wrong. The second common thing is that you are putting too many words in, so the search engines aren't finding anything that have ALL your words. Try fewer works, or more general words.

Try Philippines as well as Filipino as well as other variations.

So, if Mahayana Filipino doesn't come up, try just Mahayana, and you find it is a branch of Buddhism. So you might try "buddhism philippines" as a search in Google. And other variations.

For help, ask a librarian. They not only know about books, they also know about the Internet. Your college has librarians who are paid to teach people these things.

Ashley,
I'm not sure what type of research you are looking for, but PolicyArchive might be able to help you out. It's a public policy research archive with over 20,000 articles from some of the top think tanks, universities, government and foundation-funded research centers. It's great because you can find a ton of research in one place, without having to spend a bunch of time searching the internet (and it's free).

The site has plenty of topics ranging from human rights and religion to economics and international relations. If you are interested, here's the site: http://PolicyArchive.org

Hope it helps and good luck with that paper!

Check google, Ask.com, yahoo.

Just type in the question. "How to legally sell dvd movies on the internet."

Also check legal website. I think Findlaw.com might help.

It's the best job in the world. You sit in a desk and surf the net all day. But if you want to keep your job, you'll need to use your knowledge to locate information for others and possibly write reports on industry trends related to the internet.

Good luck.

I would start by charging those people you've been helping a small fee. Your time is valuable, too. Make sure that the people you help and are happy with your work know that you're looking to expand your business. Those referrals are your best and least expensive forms of advertisement. If you have Excel or MS Works( usually provided as free software with the purchase of a PC) or some other spreadsheet program, you may already have an invoice program available. Some versions of Quicken also provide invoicing, and bookeeping programs. Very easy to use. For inexpensive business cards and promotional items: Try www.vistaprint.com. You can get 250 business cards for the S&H of about $5. Best of Luck!
